At Illumination Station VBS, children will explore the Bible and learn how Jesus shines light into a dark world. Through each lesson, they will be encouraged to see that Jesus is not only a teacher or a historical figure, but the Son of God who gives hope, truth, forgiveness, and eternal life.

This year’s theme verse is John 8:12

We invite families from Herndon, Fort Campbell, and the surrounding Kentucky-Tennessee border area to come be part of a wonderful week at Olivet Baptist Church. Whether your children are hearing about Jesus for the first time or growing in their faith, VBS is a special place for them to learn, laugh, and make lasting memories.

Christmas
Play

Each year, our children help tell the story of Jesus’ birth through a simple Christmas play. Costumes may be homemade and the stage may be small, but the message is big: God sent His Son for us.

Easter
Events

Around Easter, we plan special activities to help children understand the cross and the resurrection. This may include a children’s program, a lesson geared for younger hearts, or a family-focused gathering. We point them to the hope of the empty tomb in ways they can grasp.

Vacation Bible
School

When school is out for summer, we host Vacation Bible School as a highlight of the year for kids in our church and community. Through Bible stories, songs, crafts, and small-group time, children hear the Gospel clearly and build friendships in a safe, caring environment.

Baby
Dedications

We celebrate new life in our church family through baby dedications, where parents publicly commit to raising their child in the nurture and instruction of the Lord. These moments remind us that God is at work from the youngest ages and that the church walks alongside families as they grow.
